Identification Requirements

At Lotey Fingerprinting, ensuring your identity is properly verified is a key part of our secure and compliant fingerprinting process. As an RCMP-accredited agency operating under Lotey Associates Inc., we follow strict guidelines for identity verification.

To proceed with fingerprinting, all clients must bring two valid government-issued IDs, with at least one showing both your photo and signature.

What You Need to Bring

To make your appointment quick and smooth, please ensure you bring:

Primary Identification (Must include Photo & Signature)

Choose one of the following:

  • Canadian or International Passport
  • Canadian Driver’s License
  • Permanent Resident Card
  • Canadian Citizenship Certificate/Card
  • Work or Study Permit (issued by IRCC)
  • Record of Landing (IMM 1000)
  • Refugee Protection Claimant Document
  • Government-issued photo ID (municipal/provincial/federal)
  • Military Family ID Card
  • Indian Status Card (Government-issued)

Please Note:

  • At least one ID must have both a photo and a signature.
  • Original documents only—no photocopies or screenshots will be accepted.
  • We do not accept: SIN cards, expired documents, credit cards, or library cards.
