Identification Requirements
At Lotey Fingerprinting, ensuring your identity is properly verified is a key part of our secure and compliant fingerprinting process. As an RCMP-accredited agency operating under Lotey Associates Inc., we follow strict guidelines for identity verification.
To proceed with fingerprinting, all clients must bring two valid government-issued IDs, with at least one showing both your photo and signature.
What You Need to Bring
To make your appointment quick and smooth, please ensure you bring:
Primary Identification (Must include Photo & Signature)
Choose one of the following:
- Canadian or International Passport
- Canadian Driver’s License
- Permanent Resident Card
- Canadian Citizenship Certificate/Card
- Work or Study Permit (issued by IRCC)
- Record of Landing (IMM 1000)
- Refugee Protection Claimant Document
- Government-issued photo ID (municipal/provincial/federal)
- Military Family ID Card
- Indian Status Card (Government-issued)

Secondary Identification
Can be used in addition to the primary ID

Please Note:
- At least one ID must have both a photo and a signature.
- Original documents only—no photocopies or screenshots will be accepted.
- We do not accept: SIN cards, expired documents, credit cards, or library cards.
